$-index  No change of supports / resistances.  In descending channel since ( 05/01/2024 ~ 05/17/2024 ) , on 16th May touched the 200 days EMA on daily chart and tested the Support  S2  as I mentioned and given a bullish closing @ 104.380 / next session (17th) opened lil lower but closed above next support S1  i.e. 104.350 ....   weekly LL made 103.945 but certainly belongs above 50 days EMA#W1. hence we mau assume this stuff will move towards R1 again as 2nd attempt to break higher .  Again mentioned Supports and resistances unchanged till now.  GL folks .

XAU  floating near ATH and it was most expected while it was accumulating with a range of $300 in post covid period / my expectation was $ 2200+ as mentioned several times at that period and was carrying net longs as since May'19 (yes, numbers of time I minted money by double hedge). But really recent past new partadigm was not in measure, got extra premium certainly. And presently carrying net short since $2430ish (I shorted ). At this level no such linier supports / resistances accountable on higer TF. So, you've to use other complex process to get S n R (what I normally use all time, that's dynamic S/R). Nearest < moderately strong support >  is $ 2362, next $ 2330 .

At this level bearish biased trade preferred with a range of +/-  $4~10  max, although I shorted 12 lots 1.0 but not feeling good to carry net short long time.  I'll close my positions once either $2313~15 level or max wait for $2288 . Because, gold moved so fast from $1800ish level to 2400ish - not a matter of joke.

The Bank of Korea can't up the interest rates because of a bunch of tough issues in Korea. With the real estate financing mess and all the household debt, hiking rates could seriously shake up the government. Considering the political scene over there, betting against the Korean won might be a smart move. Even credit rating agencies are shining a spotlight on this issue
